According to a 2020 survey conducted by YouGov, 22 percent of respondents said they’d be open to getting busy with a sex robot. Those numbers were up 6 percent from 2007 when a similar group was asked the same question.

Who Exactly Is Open to Sex with Robots?

According to research, it’s not just men who are open to robot sex. Although slightly fewer women than men were enthusiastically interested in the idea of sex robots, the difference was just that – slight. Overall, both men and women like the concept and would be willing to explore it given a chance.
And it isn’t only young people who wouldn’t mind checking out a sex robot, either. The 18-34 age demographic is marginally more likely to give it a try, but not by much. Members of other demographics, including those age 55 or older, were almost as interested. So yes, you could say that the world of sex robots potentially appeals to just about anyone.
